Hello, my name is Jeongyoun Kim. I have chosen to analyze the exhibition 'Korea Now' event in Paris. The exhibit presents a wide spectrum of Korean art from traditional craftworks to contemporary fashion. The exhibition is curated by Korean experts, so, I analyze what aspects of Korean culture they want to show to Western society, and how they introduce the artistic heritage of Korea, still little known in Europe. The aesthetic perspective of the artists is also shown through interviews and some articles.  I'm very interested on the reinterpretation of Korean artistic heritage. Maintaining and reinterpreting the traditional culture is the way they have found to identify themselves. This exhibition focuses on the works that reinterpret the cultural heritage through the needs of modern society. So, through this study I try to find the value of our cultural heritages, and the way ahead.
